Ways to Give
Contributions
The San Antonio AIDS Foundation is reliant upon and grateful for financial contributions. If you would like to make an individual donation or in memory/honor of someone, please call (210) 225-4715.
Tax Planning
A tax-deductible contribution to the San Antonio AIDS Foundation is an excellent way to support our mission while reducing your year-end income tax burden. Gifts of stock are also accepted and benefit you by resulting in double tax savings by avoiding capital gains tax on the increased value of the stock and by receiving an income tax charitable deduction on the full fair market value of the stock as of the date of your gift. SAAF would be happy to work with your income tax advisor on this gift. For more information please contact Wendy Scholl at (210)225-4715.
Red Ribbon Committee
The Red Ribbon Committee is a group of concerned community members committed to help bridge the funding gap as a result of Federal Funding cuts, specifically for skilled nursing and hospice care at the SAAF Facility. If you would like to be part of this effort and join the committee please contact Wendy Scholl at (210) 225-4715.
Estate Planning
Consider bequeathing all or part of your estate to SAAF. Your bequest would be deductible for federal estate tax purposes, and any amount, large or small, will support our mission. We will be happy to work with you and/or your estate planner on including SAAF in your will. For more information please contact Wendy Scholl at (210)225-4715.
Gift Giving
Need a thoughtful gift for that person who has everything? For a contribution of $10 or more, a special card will be sent to your designated honoree, stating that a contribution was made to the San Antonio AIDS Foundation in his/her name for the holiday season, birthdays, graduations, and other special events.
In-Kind Donations
The San Antonio AIDS Foundation is always in need of donated goods for our skilled nursing and hospice program. In particular, we are in need of adult diapers, baby wipes, facial tissues, disposable razors and dandruff shampoo for our residents. We are also in need of medical equipment, supplies, nutritional supplements, etc. Contact Janis Boyer at (210) 225-4715 for more information on donating medical supplies and equipment.
The San Antonio AIDS Foundation is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit corporation. All donations are tax deductible to the full extent of the law.
For more information on giving, contact David Ewell, Executive Director or Jill Rips, Deputy Executive Director at (210)225-4715.
